Martha (Marti) Keller Stephan (nee Keller)

Marti was the beloved wife of the late Jim Stephan. She was the loving mother of Mark Ackerman (Jen), Neil Ackerman (deceased) (Risielyn, living), Libbi Chilia (Tony), Mark Stephan, and Rachel Maples (Scott); cherished grandmother of Benjamin (Blessing), Lindsay (Dylan), Mark Jr. (Shaden), Rebekah, Nick, Harrison, Emily, Josiah (Natalia), Luke, John, Nate, Sami and Camille; cherished great-grandmother to Cameron and Amara; sister to Jerry (Edna), Don, Bill (Barbara), Gail (Jim), and David (Margaret), loving aunt, cousin and friend to many. Marti was born on October 3, 1938, in Windber, Pennsylvania, a small coal-mining town. Growing up, Marti was active in Luther League at her church, sang in the church choir and played the piano. After graduating from Windber High School, Marti went to West Penn Hospital where she earned her nursing license. She was always proud of the training she received from West Penn.
