Lawrence Allen Weekman, age 63, passed away after a brief illness on February 28, 2025. Larry grew up in Avon Lake, graduated from Avon Lake High School and resided in Garfield Heights, Ohio.
He is survived by his mother, Darlene M. Weekman (nee Scranton) of Avon Lake, OH; siblings Kimberly L. Whitler of Sheffield Lake, OH, Todd M. Weekman of Sheffield Lake, OH and Michelle Weekman of Elyria, OH.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence E. Weekman in 2010; sister Denise D. Weekman in 2007, and grandmother Gladys L. Delaney in 2013.
He loved to cook and made a career out of his passion by becoming a chef for Bon Appetite. He held that title for seventeen years. Larry was renaissance man who enjoyed a range of hobbies from horticulture, camping and fishing to boating and gemology. He created unique jewelry pieces for friends and family. Larry loved animals as well.
