Louis T. Godbolt Sr., affectionately known as "Tony," departed this life on March 21, 2025, to claim his heavenly reward. Born on January 26, 1952, in Elyria, Ohio, to the late Hattley and Beatrice Godbolt, he was a man of faith, integrity, and unwavering love for his family.
Tony was a proud graduate of Elyria High School, class of 1970, where he excelled as a standout running back on the football team. His passion for communication led him to attend Ohio Broadcasting School, and he later used his talents as a sports announcer for Channel 35 and Elyria High School home games.
